At the Footlights (The Entertainers)
Aquatint and drypoint, 1923, 200 x 150 mm., Bolling & Withington 5. Fine impression on laid paper with full margins, signed in pencil; the margins a bit dusty and an inky fingerprint at the lower left corner of the sheet. Knight focused a good deal of her work on the theater and the circus and she had the ability to capture a moment in all its spontaneity. These two entertainers bring us the raucous spirit of the British music hall as few other prints do.
