The Old St. Anthony's Gate in Amsterdam

Etching, 168 x 213 mm., Hollstein 32 from Views of Amsterdam (?). Provenance: A. P. van den Briel (Lugt 407a). Very fine, strong impression on laid paper with the watermark of a crowned Strassburg lily and with 10 mm. margins all around. The gate itself is shown to the left, the great tower occupies the center, and streets and churches of the town appear in the left background; figures abound.
