Paysanne des Environs de Boulogne, called "La Femme au Panier",
Etching, 286 x 203 mm., Bliss 94 iv/ix, B.N. Inv. 64, edition 5. Provenance: F. E. Bliss (Lugt 988); T. G. Arthur (L. 129). A fine impression, one of only four or five of this state on thick, brownish wove paper with full margins, signed in brown ink. The model is the same as one of those in the previous print, but the mood is quite different. This is one of the rarities of Legros' oeuvre.
