Restes du Palais du Pape Jules
Etching and tool-work engraving in colors, 1775, 394 x 293 mm., Portalis & Béraldi 84, B. N. Inv. 170. Fine impression with fresh colors on laid paper trimmed on or just inside the plate mark and showing the registration marks top and bottom as well as the full text. Minor printer's creases in blank paper at the lower corners and a short repaired tear at the lower edge of the sheet, also in blank paper. Janinet was a master of color printing from several plates and fully captured the delicacy of Robert’s original.
