Etching, with drypoint and aquatint, 268 x 346 mm., Bourcard/Goodfriend 157 ii/ix. Superb impression with a great range of tone and dramatic stopped-out white highlights, on thin wove paper with good margins, signed in pencil and noted "2me état" and with the large red owl stamp at the bottom center of the image; a long horizontal tear near the top of the image, with attendant small losses, has been expertly repaired and retouched and the print backed; there is also a sizeable loss in the blank upper margin just above the platemark as well as a tiny surface scrape in the image.
