A fine impression of the 2nd state (said by Roger-Marx to be rare), before the image was reduced and the colors changed and strengthened, on chine volant with probably full margins (sheet 428 x 570 mm.); a few spots of dirt in the lower left margin. Roger-Marx's measurements seem to be totally wrong, but these measurements accord with those of other impressions sold. |
