Very fine, black impression on laid paper without apparent watermark, trimmed on the borderline which is visible all around; laid down. St. Ulrich, at the center and holding his attribute of a fish, is the patron saint of Augsburg, and the print may have been commissioned by an Augsburg citizen. |
