Description: |
Fine impression on chine-appliqué with good margins, signed in pencil; tiny brown stain in the sky at the right and a larger but much paler one (water stain?) at the far left. The image shows peasants loading hay onto a horse-drawn cart from a boat on a canal. De Wint's original watercolor is in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
