Fine impression on Rives wove paper with full margins, signed, titled and numbered in pencil from the edition of 50; a very pale line of discoloration along the old mat opening. The free movement of the depicted shrimps and more informal aquatint technique make a striking and continually interesting pattern, rather different from Avati's more austere (and dull?) mezzotints. |
