| Description: |
A fine impression, with the remarque, of this rare print on laid chine volant with full margins; pale foxing mostly in the margins. According to Bonafous-Murat, the print appeared only in the deluxe edition of L'Epreuve of fifteen impressions, plus ten apart from that. The image is that of a fashionable young woman with her finger to her lips (indicating silence) standing before a large clock face. The remarque is the head of a young woman with a bow in her hair. |
