The unique hand-colored impression of this print, cited in Hausberg, printed with velvety plate tone around the subject on laid paper, trimmed to the platemark by the artist and signed in pencil on the tab. There were about 30 impressions taken in all, printed both clean wiped and with plate tone. The subject, Hetty Pettigrew, was Roussel's long-time model. |
