Description: |
Youngish man with flowing hair and a short beard sings and plays the mandolin. A very fine impression, printed with some retroussage, in brown ink on imitation japan paper with good margins, annotated 5th state, inscribed to the artist's wife and signed in pencil. The subject has recently been identified to us as Auerbach-Levy's Paris roommate and fellow etcher, Roi Partridge. Music catalog # 487. |
