Fine impression on laid paper, trimmed on the platemark which is visible in places on all sides; a small piece of the upper left corner lost and a short repaired tear and associated tiny surface loss (breaking one engraved line) at the lower right corner. Nesmond (1598-1664) was counsellor at the Parliament of Bordeaux and ultimately the head of affairs for the Prince de Condé. |
