Fine impression on laid paper with large, full margins, signed in pencil; pale foxing throughout. The impression is before the added title and therefore before the publication in "Nomenclature" in an edition of 140. Loyer mentions only two states and says the edition of the first was 6. Laboureur mentions three states, of which this would be the second, and states the edition size of this one as 10. Laboureur visited London in November of 1908, spending time there with Lepère, and creating a number of striking images, both drawings and prints. |
