A good impression of the third state, printed, according to Exsteens, in 1905, the plate now somewhat grey, on heavy wove paper with an MBM watermark and large, full margins. The plate is a typical Rops sketch sheet with numerous heads, squiggles and patches of tone and occasional written names, the presence of a tree distinguishing this one from others. |
