Pencil sketch on tan wove paper, signed with initials. The view, from an unknown building, also shows the dome of the Hôtel-Dieu at the left. The balcony railing blocks anyh view of the Seine. On the balcony is a telescope and an unidentified object within a glass dome on a talbe. Verso, a second drawing of a bearded gentleman with a hat at another place on the same balcony, a bit of the Palais showing in the background. |
