Description: |
Fine impression on thick wove paper with good margins, signed in pencil and with the annotation Imp. Verso is an almost complete impression of "Boy and Goats" (LOC 27), trimmed at the base and with white patches at the edges. The subject of the first is of a woman guiding her apparently drunk husband home along a country path, a village in the distance. The plate may have been done in Ireland, which Higgins visited. |
