Fine impression of the plate with the L monogram at the upper left, without text, printed with plate tone on cream wove paper with good margins. The state, though, appears to be after the first published state, not before, with the plate reduced to 143 x 234 mm. And beveled at the edges, thus removing the text below, the faintest traces of which are seeen at the left below the signature. The scene shows the road that goes along the Norman coast, the beach with figures and boats, and a large chateau near the road in the distance. |
