Fine, finished drawing on thin laid paper laid down to a mount, signed and dated. Livemont was well known for poster designs from 1890 to 1900. In 1887, the year of this sheet, he was studying on scholarship in Paris with Delaporte and painting stage designs and architectural decorations.
