Fine impression on white wove paper with good margins. The image shows a French soldier with high cap and sword, his rifle over his right shoulder. Behind him and near a tree, other soldiers sit or stand. De la Combe says the print, which was printed by Lasteyrie in July, 1818, is rare. |
