Generally fine impression on laid paper with good margins, a number (15) added in brown ink at the lower right; the paper lightly browned and with several vertical creases. The complex scene shows a group of men going off from a terrace, carrying crossbows and other hunting equipment. Another man arrives with a string of birds already shot. In the background, hunters in the forest, an ornate and large bird house, a distant stone palace and treed hills. |
