Beautiful, finished poster design, without letters apart from the artist's monogram, in black ink and blue, green, brown and flesh-tone watercolors on thick white, wove paper. The image is of a young girl dipping a biscuit into a cup (of tea, presumably). A large lower panel meant for the text, is colored but left blank except for the monogram. The artist is as yet unidentified, but the quality of design and draftsmanship is excellent. |
