Description: |
A fine impression on laid paper trimmed along the platemark which is visible in places, but with the full borderline and the signature and privilege du roy; a small rust hole in the tree and anothe small surface loss. Robert-Dumesnil attributes this etching (and most of the others) to Theodore, an artist of the aterlier of Francisque Millet, after a drawing or painting by the latter. The print itself says only Francisque pinxit. |
