Humilis Animus (The Humble Heart)
Engraving published by Philips Galle, 177 x 227 mm., ex collection: C. G. V. Maasson (not in Lugt). Fine impression on laid paper trimmed along the platemark but with the full text and the number 7 at the bottom right (from an unidentified set). No scriptural reference is given with the image, but Humility, one of the more rarely represented virtues, is often represented with downcast eyes and a lamb at her bare feet.
