On the Brenta (Veneto)

Along the Brenta is where the Venetian elite had their summer residences, in the countryside, among the trees, away from the all-too-pungent canals in hot weather.
MacLaughlan shows us the more ordinary dwellings rather than the Palladian villas, but the location is similar. A fine impression in blue-black ink on laid paper with narrow margins, signed in pencil.
