Etching, 1868, 158 x 242 mm. Béraldi 50; Lalanne 47. A fine impression on laid paper with margins and two deckle edges, as published in Hamerton's Etching and Etchers, 3rd edition, London, 1880. Despite their low price, many of Lalanne's purist etchings are among the masterworks of nineteenth-century graphic art.
