Verité (petite planche)

Lithograph, 1900, Hédiard 156 ii/iii, 187 x 138 mm. Fine impression on chine volant with large margins, before publication in Revue de l’Art Ancien et Moderne. As with a number of the works on this list, it is not so much that the artist is undervalued as that many of his prints are. Fantin was a wonderful painter and a great lithographer, but the majority of his prints have been ignored for years.
